Harissa paste originates from North African cuisine, particularly Tunisia. Our recipe kit produces an irresistibly delicious spicy and aromatic paste made from a blend of dried hot chili peppers, garlic, olive oil, spices, and additional ingredients like roasted red peppers. Our harissa paste recipe kit comes with dried guajillo chillis that provide a deep and smokey flavour, combined with de arbol chillis to really give it a kick.
It is such a wonderfully versatile condiment and we use it in many of our other recipes, combining oil and other spices with the paste to produce marinades, sauces and stews and yoghurt dressings. It always offers a variety of, vibrancy, through its stunningly deep reddish hue appearance, richness, spiciness and an inviting texture that perfectly balances coarseness with smoothness to all of our dishes.

In the kit:
Three spice mixes for your harissa paste including dried gajillo and de arbol chillies, caraway seeds, smoked paprika, ground coriander, ground cumin, and cayenne pepper.
You will need:
Jarred roasted red peppers (200g)
Tomato puree (2 tbsps)
Garlic cloves (4)
Lemon (1, juiced)
Olive oil (2 tbsp)
Salt (1 tsp)
