Turmeric has a warm, bitter taste, and has been known to have anti-inflammatory benefits, teeth whitening properties, and to soothe sick tummies. Commonly used in Asian food, it comes from the turmeric plant and can be used in smoothies, countless main dishes, soups, and even lattes. Ours is from India.
Our jar refills are about 6 tablespoons, which will fill the average spice jar easily.
We source many of our spices from Soil Associate Organic Certified producers and are working towards certification ourselves.
