Ingredients: 200 g Plain flour; 0.5 tsp Baking Powder; 50 g Light brown sugar; 100 g Unsalted butter (cubed); 50 g Honey, treacle, or syrup

Preheat oven to 170°C/150°C fan/350°F/gas mark 4
Sift the plain flour and baking powder into a large bowl, and add the light brown sugar and your Teaspoon Club spice packet. Mix well
Place the butter into the bowl and, using your hands, rub it into the dry ingredients until it resembles the texture of breadcrumbs
Make a well in the centre of the mixture. Pour in the honey, treacle, or syrup, and mix well to create a ball of dough
Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 3mm even thickness. Use cookie cutters to cut out the biscuit shapes you wish. Reroll any remaining dough and continue to cut shapes until all the biscuit dough is used
Arrange the biscuits on a greased and lined baking tray with sufficient spacing between each biscuit (about 2cm)
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and evenly baked
Allow to cool thoroughly on a cooling rack before eating
