Shakshouka is a North African egg dish with tomatoes, onions and peppers. It's great for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or even dinner, and our spice brings out a deep and rich flavour. Our kit serves 3-4.

In the kit:

Our shakshouka spice mix includes cumin seeds, gorund cumin, paprika, smoked paprika, and oregano ready to make the dish.

You will need:

Vegetable oil (1 tbsp)
Garlic cloves (2, crushed)
Fresh chilli (1, deseeded and finely chopped)
Onion (1, finely chopped)
Bell peppers (1 red and 1 green, deseeded and finely chopped)
Tomato puree (1 tbsp)
Chopped tomatoes (1 x 400g tin)
Sugar (1 tsp)
Eggs (5-6)
Spring onions (4, finely chopped to serve)
Avocado (2, sliced thinly, optional)
Feta cheese (100g, crumled, optional)
Bread to serve
