A delicious spinach side dish, this dish gets a lot of flavour from all kinds of Indian spices. The potatoes have a great crispy outside with a soft, flavoursome centre- perfect! Our kit serves 6.

In the kit:
Two spice mixes for making your saag aloo, including black mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chilli powder, ground ginger, and turmeric.
You will need:
Sunflower oil (6 tbsp)
Potatoes (1 kg, chopped into about 3cm cubes)
Garlic cloves (2, crushed)
Onion (1, finely chopped)
Tomato puree (2 tbsp)
Tomatoes (5, peeled and chopped finely. Could substitute for a tin of plum tomatoes, drained and chopped finely)
Green chillies (2, whole and pierced)
