Green peppercorns are berries picked from the tropical vine Piper Nigrum when they are very young and unripe. They are then dehydrated to become the green peppercorns you use in cooking. Southeast Asian recipes call upon this peppercorn frequently, largely due to its fresh taste relative to its black counterpart. Ours are from India.
Our jar refills are about 6 tablespoons, which will fill the average spice jar easily.
We source many of our spices from Soil Associate Organic Certified producers and are working towards certification ourselves.
