Fennel seeds have a liquorice-like flavour used in many indian recipes. The flavour is largely released by frying them, which is called upon by many indian recipes. They enhance both meat and fish dishes and are taken from the fennel plant. Ours are from Egypt.
Our jar refills are about 6 tablespoons, which will fill the average spice jar easily.
We source many of our spices from Soil Associate Organic Certified producers and are working towards certification ourselves.
