Ingredients: 1 kg potatoes; 0.25 cup vegetable oil; 0.5 tsp salt

Take your potatoes, cut them in half, and then cut each half into 3 to 4 wedges.
Place all the wedges in a large bowl and cover with cold water. Leave for 30 minutes.
Once the potatoes have soaked for 20 minutes, preheat your oven to 220°C/200°C fan /425°F/ gas mark 7.
After 30 minutes drain the potatoes and pat dry.
In a small bowl add a cup of vegetable oil, your teaspoon club spice packet and salt. Whisk with a fork until mixed well.
Pour the spice mixture over the potatoes and mix until they are all evenly coated.
Spread the potatoes out evenly on a baking tray and place in the oven. After 15 minutes turn the potatoes and return to the oven for a further 15 minutes. Ensure the potatoes are crisp and well cooked before serving.
